Diane Springford passed away on October 4,2024 from cancer in Billings, MT. A cultural force for the WY performing arts and a generous friend to so many who were blessed to know her–Diane impacted innumerable lives as a mother, sister, teacher, mentor, director, actor and friend. She was a founding member of the WY Shakespeare Festival Company and dedicated so much of her talent and tenacity to making Shakespeare approachable to the entire community, particularly with new generations. Diane had such a unique ability to reach each individual while engaging entire audiences. She was always up for creating, exploring, and developing anyone who was willing to try. Her answer was always "yes." The family will notify the community when plans are set to honor the legacy of her life.
