Gregory B Chavez, 57 of Riverton passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Seattle, Washington. There will be a celebration of life at later date.
Gregory B Chavez was born May 2, 1963 in Riverton, WY to Christobal Chavez and Vera Buckman. He grew up in Fremont County and attended schools in Riverton and Jeffrey City, WY.
He liked to fish, walk in the mountains, camp and hunt. He was family orientated and loved his family. He enjoyed teaching his son Josh to fish and hunt when they spent time in the mountains. He liked to joke and tell funny stories. He enjoyed reminiscing of the life he spent in Arizona, Washington State, Alaska, and California.
He is survived by his parents, Christobal Chavez and Vera Buckman; sons, Daniel Campbell, Josh Chavez (Christina); adopted daughter Chasity Longsolider; Sisters, Amelia Chavez and Clarice Green; uncles and aunts; Cecil Baldes, Florence Lopez, Virginia Torres; nieces and nephews, William (Tanisha) Chavez, Marie (Janel) Kane, Myra (Jeff) Quinn, Derek (Lyndsay) Chavez, Clarissa (Eric) Walsh; Grandchildren, Isla Chavez, Killian Chavez, William A Chavez, Ellionna Chavez, Vivienne Chavez, Mitchell Amache, and Haylo Chavez
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aureila and Trinidad Chavez, Bill and Ruth Buckman; brother Chris Chavez; uncles and aunts, Pete Chavez, Mary Chavez, Jessie Ross. William H Buckman Jr., Elliot Buckman, Rita Buckman Bremaner.
