In loving memory, Hope Leanne Keeton

Hope Leanne Keeton went to join our Lord Jesus in heaven on July 17th, 2024 in Boise, Idaho.
Hope was born on September 12, 1993 in Lander, WY to Taunya Marie Davis. Hope is survived by her husband Derek Keeton and her daughter Jolee Marie Keeton, born 10/31/2023. She is also survived by her sisters Faith (Sage) of Jay Em, WY, Grace (Ryan) of Fairfield, Idaho her beloved aunt Christine (Glenn) Burgett of Riverton, WY, In-laws Pete and Heidi Keeton and cousins that were like siblings, Coleter (Hadley) Jordan of Riverton, WY, Lanna (Hank) Osborne of Riverton, WY and Tyrell (Hannah) Lawrence of Riverton, WY, and her Grandparents Rod and Linda Paulsen of Riverton, Wyoming. She will be missed by Derek’s siblings, K’La (Seth) Hicks, Lacy (Austyn) Grothaus, and Jared (Brylee) Keeton.
Hope was a beloved aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews, Eli, Bentleigh, Alpharetta, Kinsi, Clancy, Palmer, Gus, Persephone, Della, and Arlie and cherished time with them. She never forgot a single birthday. She also loved all her family, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and too many friends to list them all.
Hope was preceded in death by her mother, Taunya Marie Dewey, and Grandparents William and Shirley Hoffman.
Hope was a bright spot in everyone’s lives. Growing up in Pavilion, WY Hope was active in 4H and FFA, with her sisters Faith and Grace, they showed lambs, participated in Horse and Livestock Judging, and loved working at her aunt and uncle’s ranch.
Hope loved coffee, sunflowers, horses and animals of every shape and size. She loved adopting her cats and dogs. She enjoyed camping, shopping, paddleboarding, boating, fishing, traveling, and visiting new and old places. She especially enjoyed her friends and family and carefully made time for all the special people in her life.
Hope loved her home state of Wyoming, but really loved the sunshine and hot summer days of Western Idaho. She was an animal lover and enjoyed working at the Stock Doc in Riverton and All Creatures Animal Hospital in New Plymouth, and was very proud to be working towards becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Most of all, Hope loved her husband Derek and was so proud of her baby Jolee Marie. Hope was so excited to become a mother and from the day Jolee was born, Hope could not imagine life without her. She always took great care of her sweet Jolee and was so excited to master being a momma. She loved Jolee with all her heart and she loved watching Derek become Jolee’s Dad.
We will all miss Hope, but she would not want anyone to grieve for her. Instead, please join the family for a celebration of life at the West Side Assembly of God, New Plymouth Saturday July 27, at 1:00 PM. A later Celebration will be held in Riverton a a later date in 2024.
