We are saddened to announce the passing of Joyce (Jolynn) Kohler Corson, who left this world on September 19, 2024. Joyce was born on August 19, 1941, to Henry and Fawn Kohler in Heber City, Utah. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and cherished the time spent with her family.
Joyce had a deep passion for herbalism, enjoyed playing musical instruments, and loved spending time outdoors. She also had a talent for hairdressing, and in her younger years, she made a difference as a substitute teacher.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Fawn Kohler; her beloved husband, Larry Corson; her children, Bruce Jeffrey Jr., Rachel, Joe Joseph, and Jim Earnest James; and her sister, Edna Toponce.
Joyce leaves behind her loving sisters, Kim Ercanbrack, Karla Johnson, Kay, and Konnie Pickett; her children, Sherry Goffaux of Powell, WY, Aurora (Corey) Donahue of Riverton, WY, Henry (Monica) Corson of Riverton, WY, and Alan (Eileen) Corson of Sunset, TX. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous others who saw her as a grandmother and loved her dearly. Joyce will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Services will be this Friday, September 27th, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints(430 Elizabeth Drive, Riverton) at 1pm. Please come join us to celebrate the life of Joyce.
