Juanita “Nita” Virden, 84, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026.
Nita was born in Ogden, Utah, on October 26, 1941, to Harold and Violet Burton. She grew up in Evanston and spent most of her life in Lyons Valley (Lander) Wyoming, a community she called home.
In 1968, Nita married the love of her life, James Edward “Ed” Virden. Together, they built a ranch, and loving life with their children, Amy and Jud.
Nita will be remembered for her love of family, her kind heart, and the warmth she shared with those around her. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Click here to continue reading….
