Kelsey Marie Burton, 19 of Stephenville, Texas, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025. Due to a tragic accident, on July 12, 2025. Was taken off lifesupport July 14, 2025. Donated her organs to save other's lives. She passed away at the Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Kelsey was born July 1, 2006, in Denver Co. along with her twin brother Preston Burton. To Cassie Kofoid and Gary Burton, as preemie's.
Kelsey went to High School in Lander, Wyoming. Later, she met her High School Sweetheart and now Fiance Justin Miller. And an angel baby that they unfortunately miscarried.
Kelsey was a loving daughter, twin, sister, fiance, niece, aunt, and friend. Kelsey loved her dog Teauila Rose.
Very seldom would you see Kelsey without Tequila Rose. She loved cows, especially one she named Moose. That used to follow her around. She loved riding her horse Tex. And taking care and riding other horses. She especially riding horses with her fiance, family, and friends, nearly every day. She was a very sweet and uplifting young lady when not being her sarcastic self. She also loved helping others.
Kelsey has now joined her angel baby. Later Great Grandparents's Marily (Honey) and David Burton, Grandparents Patricia and Charles Gorda, Grandpa Brantley Burton, and Grandpa Alney Kofoid.
Kelsey's memory lives on through her parent's Cassie and Dane Kofoid. Dad Gary Burton and Syepmom Amber Burton. Her siblings: Twin brother Preston Burton. Sister's: Josslynn Kofoid, Anika Elvidge, Hazel, and Harley Burton. Her niece Ella and nephew Mavric. Grandma's: Juliette Burgdorf and Lorna Kofoid. Her aunt's and uncle's: Amber Brown, Michael (Kirsten) Gorda, Serenity Gorda, Great aunt Kelly (Mike) Shanley, David (Jenn) Burton, Charla Burton, Justin (Brandy) Kofoid, Dez (Brenda) Kofoid, and her many close cousin's.
Cassie and Dane Kofoid invite you to come celebrate Kelsey Marie Burton's life. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11 am. At the Riverton Wyoming Indoor Arena (875 Gaser road Riverton, Wyoming.
