Robert "Bob" Long died on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the age of 91. He was born in Gebo, WY on January 1, 1933, to John and Anna (Brettauer) Long.
Bob was the fourth of four children. He graduated from Riverton High School in May 1952 and enlisted in the United States Air Force. After serving, he returned to Riverton, and married the love of his life, Joyce Hansen, on June 22, 1957.
In 1956, he enrolled at the University of Wyoming Business College and later had a successful career in Insurance and Investment Banking. He was a lifetime entrepreneur and mentor to many in his field.
He is survived by his wife Joyce E Long and sons John Long (wife Yana), and Gary. He will be sorely missed.
