Vance Edward Lund

Vance Edward Lund was born on Saturday, August 20, 1960, in Riverton, Wyoming, to Gary and Marilyn (Woodbeck) Lund. He passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton, Wyoming, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Vance graduated from Wind River High School and went on to attend Northwest Nazarene College for two and a half years. He worked for over 30 years as a heavy equipment operator with Jerry Bornhoft Construction.
For seven years, he lived and fished at a beach site in Kenai, Alaska, enjoying the natural beauty and abundant fishing opportunities the area had to offer. An avid outdoorsman, Vance loved hunting, fishing, and golfing—so much so that he built his own golf course at his home. In later years, he found joy in creating metal art.
He is survived by his brother, Verlin Lund; sisters, Vicki (Randy) Albitre and Vonni (Ken) Bray; nieces, Amber Munoz-Duran, Leisha Lund, RaeVonn Lund, Devon Selz, and Dustee Albitre; and his nephew, Parker Bray.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Marilyn Lund, and his grandparents, Oscar and Naoma Lund and Charles and Norma Woodbeck.
