Position Summary
Injury Prevention Resources (IPR), a non-profit dedicated to saving lives in Wyoming, seeks a full-time DUI Supervised Probation (DSP) Agent to monitor court-ordered offenders. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with probation conditions, maintaining safety, and supporting offender rehabilitation through strict monitoring and case management in collaboration with local courts.
Key Responsibilities
• Case Management & Monitoring: Manage a caseload of DUI offenders, conducting intake, scheduling appointments, and creating individualized case plans.
• Compliance & Surveillance: Enforce probation terms, conduct BAC/UA testing, and monitor offender behavior, including social media audits.
• Court Reporting & Attendance: Prepare documentation for court/county attorneys and appear in court to report on offender progress.
• Support & Education: Utilize the CSBG Resource Guide to connect offenders with resources and assist with Adult Alcohol Education Classes.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate electronic records on IPR servers and participate in monthly quality assurance audits.
Required Qualifications
• Education/Experience: Associate degree or 2-3 years of related experience.
• Skills: Strong oral/written communication, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.
• Logistics: Valid Wyoming driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Successful candidate: Must have a clean driving record and successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test. Candidates must not have been convicted of a DUI within the past 10 years.
Preferred Qualifications
• Education: Associate degree in social work, criminal justice, sociology, or psychology.
• Experience: Progressive experience in probation and parole, case management, risk assessment, or behavioral change counseling.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
• Must be able to work in office and outdoor settings (in various weather conditions).
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods.
