3:40 p.m. update: Buffalo to Kaycee is now open. The closure remains in place for Kaycee to Casper SOUTHBOUND.
(Casper, WY) – The Wyoming Department of Transportation has announced the closure of Interstate 25 between Casper and Buffalo Wednesday afternoon shortly after 3:00 p.m.
The official reason is listed as, “due to law enforcement request.” There is currently no estimated reopening time.
