8:50 a.m. update: The Closure now extends from Rawlins to Cheyenne
(Laramie, WY) – The Wyoming Department of Transportation has closed Interstate 80 between Rawlins and Cheyenne Thursday morning at 7:42 a.m. due to winter conditions.
There was not an immediate reopening timetable given. WYDOT will update travel conditions first through their website or by calling 511.
WY-28 over South Pass is also closed Thursday morning.
