A 47-year-old Riverton man is in custody after stepping into traffic while intoxicated Thursday night.
Riverton Police Department Detective Sergeant Eric Smits explained the situation,
A highly intoxicated male stepped out in front of traffic and was hit by a passing vehicle. The male received some minor injuries and was treated at the Sage West Riverton Hospital.”
The incident occurred at 9:24 p.m. in the 300 block of North Federal Boulevard.
He was arrested for intoxicated pedestrian.
