As Christmas quickly approaches, so do snow chances around Wyoming.
Lander and Dubois have a good shot at Friday snow chances, followed by a dry, but chilly weekend.
Most areas across Fremont County also have a shot at Christmas Day snowfall. A winter storm is projected into the long-term forecast for late next week, but projections for that are changing rapidly.
Wyoming’s westernmost mountains are expected to receive 3-6 inches of snowfall today, with 1-3 inches in lower elevations.
Friday is also the shortest day of the year in daylight hours and the first day of Winter Solstice.
