(Riverton, WY) – 35-year-old Riverton woman Karita Moss faces multiple charges after a high-speed chase that took place in Riverton Wednesday night, January 29, according to the Riverton Police Department call log issued on January 30.
The log states that RPD received a call at 8:53 PM, informing that a vehicle failed to yield while traveling westbound on Main Street. (The log informs that the incident also took place in the area of S 7th Street East and Jefferson Ave.)
A high-speed chase involving law enforcement vehicles from multiple agencies then ensued, culminating in spike strips being deployed. The spike strips removed both driver’s side tires and immobilized the vehicle.
Moss was ultimately charged with Eluding, DUI, Property Destruction, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane, Duty to stop where injury occurred (the log did not include specifics about the injury), Stop Sign, and Reckless Endangering, the call log informs.
