Joe Stanbury, a Board Member with the Wind River Development Company in Riverton, was on John Gabrielson’s drive time show this week on 97.5 The Brand. They chatted about the 1/2% economic development tax and why Joe is in favor of the tax.
The conversation ranged from the essential services supported by the tax and also the business grants that have been given out over the last four years. Joe concludes that a lot has been learned about administering the grants and changes have been made accordingly.
Joe Stanbury is the former owner of RTO Point S in Riverton and is involved in numerous community initiatives. He encourages everyone to vote “yes” for the 1/2% sales tax for economic development on Tuesday.
