(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners convened for a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 23, and have provided the following recap of the meeting.
- A Grant Award Agreement with the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security for $18,550 was approved for improving the ability of Fremont County Emergency Management to prevent, protect, mitigate loss, improve response, and recover from terror attacks.
- A service contract with GovInterest, Inc. dba TrueComp in the annual amount of $14,000 for access to software with current compensation information including salary ranges, pay scales, job descriptions, and comparisons for the use in recruitment and retention efforts was approved.
- A Cooperative Agreement Contract between the Clerk of District Court and the Wyoming Department of Family Services was approved for the purpose of setting the responsibilities to receive and distribute child support payments according to federal law, rules, and policies.
- A Right-of-way Easement Application from Myles McLeod for Chittim Road was approved.
- Resolution 2026-18 Establishing Fire Restrictions for Fremont County beginning June 29, 2026 at 12:01am was approved.
- A quote for a Trane compressor replacement for a County Courthouse A/C unit in the amount of $30,000 from Johnson Controls Building Solutions, LLC. to come out of the Building Maintenance Budget was accepted.
- It was approved to appoint Kristy Richmond and Tiffanie Zimmer to the Library Board. The following table shows how the Commissioners voted:
