(Riverton, WY) – In a battle of ranked Class 4-A girls’ soccer teams, the fourth-ranked Lady Wolverines hosted the fifth-ranked Lady Wolves of Green River late Saturday morning.
Riverton was a bit flat in the game. Most of the game was played near midfield, with Green River advancing onto Riverton’s end of the field more than the Lady Wolverines could.
Green River senior Isa Vasco scored both goals for the Lady Wolves.
After a scoreless 32 minutes of play, she hit the first goal of the game.
Riverton trailed at the half 1-0.
In the second half, Vasco found the range again at the 60-minute mark, hitting her second goal.
The game started at 11 a.m. since the Riverton High School Prom was later in the evening.
