The Lander Police Department recognized some of their officers that have gone above-and-beyond over the last year recently.
In March the Lander Post of the American Legion celebrated their 100th anniversary. Several community members were given awards and recognized publicly.
At that event, Lander Police Department Chief Thomas Shryoer recognized LPD Patrol Sergeant John Cunningham. Cunningham was also given the American Legion’s 2018 Law Encorcement Officer of the Year Award.
