(Wyoming) – The weekly Wyopreps.com Coaches & Media poll was released Wednesday and Riverton High School remains Fremont County’s lone ranked team.
Riverton has been ranked third in the class 3A poll all three weeks it’s been conducted this year. Star Valley and Cody have been ranked first and second all year. Douglas and Jackson round out the top five again this week, but the Lander Tigers were a couple votes away from moving into the top five. Lander hosts Powell this week and may have an opportunity to earn more votes.
Dubois is just on the outside looking in, in class 1A 6-man receiving several votes again this week. Little Snake River is a unanimous top choice followed by Encampment, Farson-Eden, Burlington and Hanna-Elk Mountain.
Pine Bluffs holds the top spot in 1A 9-man, Big Horn ranks first in 2A and Sheridan remains nearly unstoppable in class 4A.
