Sunday afternoon was a balmy 88-degrees in Riverton and Lander. Things changed.
Monday morning, Riverton and Lander both woke up to low temps of 37-degrees according to timeanddate.com.
That means both areas had a temperature swing of 51 degrees in about a 13 hour period.
Dubois saw a high temperature of 72 on Sunday afternoon and woke up with 34 degrees, for a 38-degree drop.
Casper had a 48-degree drop in the same time period, Cheyenne had a 45-degree drop, Jackson and Gillette both saw a 38-degree temperature drop.
Keep in mind, those temps are as of about 4:00 p.m. MST Monday. Temperatures will continue to dip this evening, but according to the National Weather Service office in Riverton, summer-like temps in the 80’s are due back tomorrow for most of Wyoming.
