(Lander, WY) – The Tinderwoods have been on quite a journey over the past few months. Lander’s Adam Kirkpatrick, Micah Wyatt, Brady Frude and Vince Tropea have logged plenty of miles, playing gigs across the state. They’ve entertained hundreds of fans at packed venues and just a handful of onlookers in some of the state’s smallest towns. Along the way, they’ve admittedly consumed more hot dogs than any group of grown men probably should. Most unexpectedly, they’ve gone viral by blending a beloved country sing-along with an early hip-hop anthem.
The band was just selected as Fremont County’s only representatives to play the Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources ‘Tunes On The Trail,’ event this year. What’s more, they are one of just four Wyoming bands playing the 2026 series.
You can catch their show Saturday, August 15th at the South Pass State Historical Site, where visitors will have the chance to enjoy a hike and soak in a 90-minute concert, surrounded by nature.
