(Powell, WY) – The 2025 golf season is underway for Lander Valley High School. Head Coach Mike Watson’s squad opened their season with a two-day invitational in Powell Thursday and Friday.
Lander’s boys finished in third place overall in the ten team event, just behind Campbell County High School and Sheridan. The LVHS girls placed 7th as a team, Campbell County also won the ladies crown.
Individually, the Tigers top finisher was William Oland who shot a two-day 158 and finished in 11th place. Teammates Isaiah Webb and Grady Eagle were 13th and 14th. Josh Lozier finished 16th.
On the girls side, Lander was led by Keigann Watson with a two-day 179. That put her in 7th place overall. Siara Espinosa finished in 11th after a strong day one.
Buffalo High School’s Addie Bettinger and Campbell County High School’s Jaxon Burr won individual titles.
