Roughly 70 children took part in the Lander Care & Share Food Bank’s North Pole Shopping event this week.
Kids were able to “purchase” new items for their parents or caretakers with “Santa Bucks” that were provided by the Lander Food Bank.
Volunteers and board members helped the excited children wrap these gifts. Parents were encouraged to not peek inside of the wrapped items until Christmas, but we cannot guarantee they obeyed instruction.
The Lander Care & Share Food Bank serves over 1,700 individuals each month. They’re located at 281 Garfield Street and accept donations.
