(Lander, WY) – The Lander Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announces that CEO Owen Sweeney has resigned from his position after six years of dedicated service to the Chamber and the Lander community.
During his tenure, Sweeney played an instrumental role in strengthening the Chamber’s partnerships, expanding business resources and enhancing the visibility of Lander as a destination for visitors, entrepreneurs and families alike. The Board extends its sincere gratitude to Owen for his leadership, commitment and contributions to the organization and wishes him continued success in his future endeavors.
Effective immediately, Carol King will serve as Interim Executive Director while the Board conducts a search for the Chamber’s next CEO. Carol brings valuable experience and continuity to the role, ensuring a smooth transition as the organization moves forward in supporting local businesses and the broader community.
The Board of Directors will begin the search process immediately and will share updates as they become available.
