(Lander, WY) – The Lander City Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, in the City Council Chambers at 240 Lincoln Street.
The agenda for the meeting includes a public hearing on 2025-2026 liquor license renewals.
The council will consider approving the 2025-2026 liquor license renewals as part of the consent agenda for the evening.
A second public hearing will be held Tuesday regarding an application for a retail liquor license transfer of ownership from WR Holdings, doing business as Zanders, to Bailey Enterprises, doing business as Pit Stop 6 at 730 E. Main St. in Lander.
The council will consider approving the transfer under new business (action items) later in the meeting.
The council will also consider awarding the request for proposals for a groundskeeping independent contractor at the Lander Community and Convention Center to Austin Shields under new business (action items), and they will un-table and approve economic development funding recommendations for the Lander Girls Softball League complex improvements.
Other new business (action items) on the agenda include:
- authorize the mayor to sign CDBG grant agreement for $1.275 million for Jefferson Street Extension into Popo Agie River Park
- authorize the mayor to sign a $533,000 notice of award and construction contract with Gregco LLC for the Gannett Peak Sidewalk project TAP grant
- authorize the mayor to sign the contract amendment for professional services with Ayers to extend the master plan product deadline date
- authorize the mayor to sign the business association agreement between the city and Willis Towers Watson Insurance Services West for health insurance administrative services
- approve and authorize the mayor to sign the Lander Municipal Airport hangar space land lease agreement with Matt Ramsey
- nominate and elect council president
Under new business (non-action items), the oath of office will be administered to re-elected Councilmembers Melinda Cox, Dan Hahn and Julia Stuble.
The council will also complete official depository disclosures and assign council liaisons positions.
