(Lander, WY) – The Lander City Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, in the City Council Chambers at 240 Lincoln Street.
The agenda includes an executive session for litigation.
The council will also hold a public hearing regarding an application for a transfer of ownership for a retail liquor license from Maverik to Maverik Group.
The council will consider approving the application later in the meeting
Non-action items on the agenda include:
- Wind River Transportation Authority bridge funding request
- Fremont Air Service Team bridge funding request
- Fremont County Commissioner ambulance bridge funding request
- Bruce Gresley Aquatic Center funding update
The council will also consider approving Wyoming Airport Improvement Program Certificates of State Grants-in-Aid for two state projects.
Other action items on the agenda include:
- a resolution approving the dissolution of the Tiger Joint Powers Board
- a resolution declaring certain police department hand held devices and printers as surplus property and authorizing their disposal.
- a contract between the State of Wyoming, Office of the Attorney General, Division of Criminal Investigation and Lander Police Department
- a new grant-funded full-time position for the LPD pursuant to a DCI agreement
- an amendment to a Transportation Alternatives Program Subrecipient Agreement between the Wyoming Department of Transportation and the City of Lander
- a $1,000 software set up and training and a $1,200 annual platform fee increase
- a Montana Conservation Corps service order
Under unfinished business, the council will consider approving an ordinance on second reading creating new provisions relating to the regulation of bicycles, human-powered scooters, skateboards, electric bicycles, one-wheeled devices, and powered scooters.
