(Lander, WY) – The Lander City Council will hold a special meeting and work session beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, in the City Council Chambers at 240 Lincoln Street.
The agenda for the special meeting includes three public hearings, regarding:
- a new restaurant liquor license application for On Site Laundry at 680 Main Street
- an ordinance rezoning 569 Garfield from Multi-Family Residential to Commercial
- an ordinance rezoning 675 Garfield from Multi-Family Residential to Commercial
The council will consider approving the restaurant liquor license application and both ordinances on first reading later in the meeting.
Under old business, the council will consider approving an ordinance on second reading establishing comprehensive regulations for the public and private community forest in Lander.
Other new business action items on the agenda include:
- approve a resolution amending the job description for the police chief
- appoint Mary Greene to the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment to fill Kristen Yannone’s term through Dec. 31, 2026
- approve payment to Quadient Inc. for postage in the amount of $1,000
There is one item on the work session agenda for Tuesday: a police department policy update discussion.
