(Lander, WY) – The Lander City Council will hold a work session and special meeting beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, in the City Council Chambers at 240 Lincoln Street.
The agenda for the work session includes a Juvenile Justice of Fremont County update and an executive session.
The agenda for the special meeting includes a Lander Police Department staff recognition.
The council will also consider approving an ordinance on third and final reading granting a franchise to Northern Arapaho Tribal Industries doing business as Wind River Internet to maintain a telecommunications system in Lander.
The council will then consider another third-reading ordinance amending the age requirements for tobacco products within the City of Lander, as well as a second-reading ordinance repealing Title 3 “Adoption and Enforcement of Uniform Codes and Standards for Mobile and Modular Buildings” and enacting Title 3 “Buildings and Construction” of the Lander Municipal Code.
Under new business, the council will consider approving:
- an agreement with the Cemetery Ditch Company
- a resolution creating a job description for a part-time code enforcement officer
- a $225 HealthEquity Premium Only plan application for IRC Section 125 Compliance services
- a resolution adopting the November 2025 update of the City of Lander supplements to the Wyoming Public Works Standard Specifications and Details
