(Lander, WY) – Lander Valley High School’s boys and girls golf teams wrapped up their spring season by winning both team championships at their home course invite last weekend.
Riverton’s girls placed second in the nine-team field with Cody finishing third. LVHS junior Keigann Watson shot a two-day 85 for first place individually. Riverton’s Tylynn McDonald was second, shooting a 90. Lady Wolverine Anika Stanley took third overall, and Lady Tiger Siara Espinosa rounded out the top five.
Laramie’s boys finished runner-up with Worland taking third overall. Individually, senior Hunter Kihn led the Tigers with a two-day 70 winning an individual title. Freshman Tayten Jacks tied for second and Lander sophomore William Oland placed fifth overall.
