It was a great weekend for the Lander Valley Tigers and Lady Tigers at the Battle in the Bighorns wrestling tournament held in Worland on December 20/21.
The varsity boys finished 2nd overall, and five Tigers were selected to wrestle in the Best of the Best, including Ty McWilliams, Henry Quiver, Colin McWilliams, Landon Jones, and Billy Velarde, with McWilliams bringing home the Championship.
On the girls’ side, we brought home three champions: Taylor Freeman, Jordan Nielsen, and Andie Gibson.
