Riverton and Lander’s outdoor skating rinks are ready for the opening weekend! Both communities say there was a slight delay due to warmer temperatures than usual over the last few days.
The Lander City Park ice skating rink will open Friday at 7:00 p.m. according to a release from the City of Lander.
Hours over Christmas vacation are 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and then again from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Hours on Sunday are 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and again 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Skating will also open up at Tonkin Stadium in Riverton beginning Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Ice skate rentals are available for $3. During Christmas break, the rink is open from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
