(Lander, WY) – Lander Police Department interim Chief Kelly Waugh and Lander Mayor Missy White joined us in the KOVE studio recently on the Today in the 10 Morning Show.
Together, they discussed the busy summer season coming up with events and an expected influx of tourism. Waugh chats about how they handle large events like Brew Fest and the 4th of July festivities.
Both also noted a desire from the community, and law enforcement alike, for extra LPD patrolling on Main Street this summer. Some of those efforts have already been established by Waugh’s officers.
