(Pinedale, WY) – After finishing the regular season 10-22 overall and 2-8 in conference play, the Lady Tigers hope to have some fuel in the tank for a post-season push.
They’ll travel to Pinedale Friday and Saturday for the 3A West regional tournament with the goal of winning two games, before losing two games, in order to be one of the four teams that qualify for the state tournament in Casper November 6-8.
Lander opens Friday with Mountain View at 1:30 p.m. The Buffaloes were great in conference play, going 9-1 this season and 21-12 overall. The winner of that match-up plays the winner of Lovell and Worland, while the losers play against each other too.
The Cody Fillies are the 3A West favorite, entering the post-season at a 10-0 conference record and 30-2 overall.
