LPD is hosting their first “Coffee with a Cop” event at Mr. D’s Fooc Center (725 Main Street) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Complimentary coffee and creamer is provided by Mr. D’s at the event.
The nationwide “Coffee with a Cop” effort began in 2011 when police officers in Hawthorne, California organized a way to be more interactive with citizens. The plan expanded to “Coffee with a Cop” events in all 50 states over the last 8 years.
