Lander Mayor Del McOmie is stepping down from his post as the new year begins.
The City of Lander announced Wednesday, that they are encouraging residents to write their well-wishes and thank you’s to McOmie on a postcard.
Postcards are provided or can be dropped off, at Lander City Hall.
Lander’s Mayor-elect Monte Richardson will take the position in January 2019. Richardson defeated challenger Any Gramlich in the November 2018 General Election.
