(Lander, WY) – The Lander School Board will hold a budget hearing at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, in the Boardroom at the Administration Building at 863 Sweetwater St. in Lander.
The hearing will be followed by a regular meeting in the same location.
The agenda for the meeting includes an executive session for matters related to employment of personnel and litigation.
After the executive session, the board will consider personnel actions – including spring coaching recommendations – and a late resignation penalty waiver.
Adoption of the 2025-2026 budget is on the agenda as well, along with an amended Fremont County Board of Cooperative Educational Services Agreement.
The board will also review the following policies on second reading: EJ – Sex Designated Facilities, GCBA – Certified Staff Salary Schedules, INJ – Homeschooling, and JICHA-R – Drug testing for Students Involved in Extracurricular Activities-Regulation.
The action item agenda also includes a request to use $14,170 in depreciation reserve account funds to purchase nets for the high school discus and shot put area.
Under discussion items, the board will review climate surveys and salary and compensation targets.
Tuesday’s meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on Zoom.
