(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County School District 1 Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, in the Boardroom at the Administration Building at 863 Sweetwater St. in Lander.
The agenda includes an executive session for matters related to employment of personnel.
The board will also consider personnel actions and recommendations for winter coaching positions.
Other action items on the agenda include:
- approve meal prices for fiscal year 2025-2026
- accept bid proposal to replace facility access platform
- approve new Lander Middle School course
- policy review (second reading)
- proposed handbook changes for 2025-2026 (second reading)
- approve monetary donations
- new course request for Lander Middle School (Outdoor Recreation)
- request for use of depreciation reserve account funds
- CWC BOCHES 2025-2026 budget
During discussion, the board will review the first year of implementation for the district’s new policy requiring drug testing for students in extracurricular activities.
The board will also discuss music programs throughout the district and review climate survey recommendations from district administrators.

- salary and compensation targets
- new policies driven by state statute
