(Lander, WY) – Lander will be extra busy this Halloween weekend with 16 volleyball teams in town vying for a ticket to the state tournament.
Action begins at LVHS Friday morning and will conclude Saturday late afternoon. Cokeville, Riverside, Burlington, Farson-Eden, Little Snake River, Meeteetse, Dubois and Saratoga represent class 1A. Kemmerer, Shoshoni, Greybull, Wind River, Big Piney, Thermopolis, Rocky Mountain and Wyoming Indian are competing in class 2A.
The top four qualifiers from both classes will represent the west at the state volleyball championships in Casper November 6-8.
