The Lander Tiger Speech and Debate team travelled to Jackson last weekend, where four students reached the finals.

- Natalie Reilley – Oratory
- Skyler Leonard – Informative Speaking
Making it to Finals
- Oliver Parrott – 6th place in Congress
- Loukia Savino – 2nd in Poetry, 3rd in POI, 1st place in Drama and Impromptu Speaking
- Natalie Reilley – 2nd place in Extemp Debate and 3rd in Original Spoken Word Poetry
- Skyler Leonard – 5th place in Original Spoken Word Poetry
