Lander is gearing up for an exciting weekend as two major LVHS sporting events come to town on January 23–24. With teams traveling from across Wyoming, the community should plan for increased traffic and activity throughout the weekend and is encouraged to attend the events, cheer on the athletes, and enjoy all that Lander has to offer. Residents are invited to come out and support local student-athletes while enjoying high-level wrestling and swimming/diving competitions.
With the anticipated influx of athletes, families, and spectators, restaurants, hotels, and shops should be prepared for heavier-than-usual traffic. The City encourages residents and businesses alike to extend a warm welcome to our visitors and help showcase Lander’s hospitality and community spirit.
