(Lander, WY) – Local couple, Adam Keifenheim and Liz Kidner, started the Home Energy Assessment of Lander in September of 2021 as a way to help homeowners save both energy and money by improving their home’s efficiency.
Their home energy audits include a baseline assessment, interview, home energy assessment and a report.
Adam and Liz, both professional engineers, started this business part-time because they were unable to find anyone in Fremont County that offered this service. Adam became a certified building analyst through the Building Performance Institute and can perform basic energy audits.
In addition to home energy audits, ice dams are a symptom of a problem they can also make recommendations on, Adam shared.
Their current service area includes Riverton and Lander. However, this remains a very part-time business for them.
