Under most people’s notice last week, the Lander Holiday Inn Express & Suites changed ownership.
The property was purchased by Timberline Hospitalities, owners of 10 hotels in Wyoming. Like the just purchased Lander Holiday Inn Express, many of Timberline’s properties have been nationally recognized for excellence in customer service over the past 3 decades. “The HIEX Lander is a perfect fit to our Wyoming portfolio of hotels. We are excited to see the continued success of this team and look forward to another Torchbearer award winning year,” shared Christine Hill, Director of Revenue, Sales & Marketing. The hotel had been built and owned over the past 10 years by the Riley Hotel Group (Medina, Ohio).
Timberline announced that they were retaining the current team, including the General Manager and Lander resident, Krista Lobera. She has been with the hotel since it’s inception and has guided the property to top 3% global standing, based upon guest review scores.
