(Lander, WY) – Brian Rohrbacher, President & CEO of Atlantic City Federal Credit Union (ACFCU) (Lander, WY), was named the Credit Union Advocate of the Year for Wyoming by the GoWest Credit Union Association during the recent Credit Union Day at the Capitol event.
The award is given to the credit union leader who demonstrates a commitment to advocacy, through collaboration and advancing the values that benefit credit union members and the communities they serve. That is shown through active engagement in advocacy work, both at the state and Federal level, to advance policies and regulations that help improve the operating environment for credit unions and service to credit union members.
Receiving the Wyoming Advocate of the Year Award is an honor,” he said. “I work to make a difference in the lives of ACFCU members and Wyoming credit unions, and I hope these efforts make positive changes.”
“Brian has served as our Wyoming Governmental Affairs Committee Co-Chair and has attended every meeting since its inception in 2022,” said Bobbie Frank, Vice President for Wyoming Legislative Advocacy for GoWest. “In addition, he’s well known in his community and has worked hard to develop one-on-one relationships with his legislators and local government officials.”

Rohrbacher has served as President & CEO of Atlantic City Federal Credit Union in Lander since 2011. Atlantic City FCU has more than 12,000 members and was founded in 1964. Originally ACFCU was formed to serve employees of US Steel Corporation working at the Atlantic City Ore Mine in Fremont County. In 1999, ACFCU received a community charter to expand its membership to any person living in Fremont County and in 2021 the charter was expanded to cover the state of Wyoming.
