Registration is now open, and we’re here to make the process as smooth as possible. Whether you’re registering a new student or a returning one, we’ve got all the resources you need online. For those needing a bit of extra help, our friendly staff is just a call or email away.

REGISTRATION
The online registration process is open for parents to register new and returning students for the 2024-2025 school year. Click here to begin the process. Parents with returning students will see a link to the online application in their Parent Portal. If you do not yet have a Parent Portal account, cannot remember your login information, or if your family is new to the district, call (307) 332-4711 or email registration@landerschools.org for assistance. If you do not have internet access or need assistance with the application, you may visit a school or the district administration office for computer access to complete the form.
For registration of new students to the district: a copy of a state-issued birth certificate, proof of residence, and immunization record are required.

Late July
Required forms for LVHS students will be mailed. Packets will include required forms for all students and instructions to access student’s 2024-2025 class schedule. Athletics and extracurricular activities sign-ups will be online at www.dragonflymax.com starting August 6. More activity information and start dates can be found online at www.landerschools.org.
All students, new and returning, must complete the online registration. Receipt of an LVHS schedule does not mean that you are registered. NO SCHEDULE CHANGES WILL BE CONSIDERED UNTIL THE ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS IS COMPLETED.

Free and Reduced Meals
Each July, USDA releases new guidelines for Free and Reduced Meal Benefit applications. Applications filled out prior to July 1st and MUST be updated each school year even if you were approved last year, you MUST apply again before OCTOBER 1st, 2024. Approval may take up to 10 days. Please submit the applications as soon as possible. Applications will be available via your school’s front office, the district website (https://www.landerschools.org/page/food-services) or online through the Parent Portal. SNAP & FDPIR Benefits and Foster Children
Students who are in these three categories can be directly certified for free lunch and breakfast without completing a meal benefit income application. Contact Alicia McConnell, Food Service Director, to check on the student’s direct certification status.
TANF/POWER (non-custodial)
Students that are in this category can be certified for free lunch and breakfast after a meal benefit income application is completed by the adult. The adult must include the adult household member’s signature and the appropriate case number.
Students in Transitional Housing, Migrant and Runaway
Students who are determined to be in transitional housing will receive free lunch and breakfast. Contact your child’s school or Cindy Hayford (chayford@landerschool.org) at the district office for more information.
Student Meal Accounts and Payments
Through your Parent Portal account, you can track your student’s meal account balance. You can make payments to your student’s lunch account via credit, debit, or checking account. Cash and check payments may also be given to nutritional service workers. Please do not let your student fall into the negative. Accounts that are more than 30 days delinquent may be turned over to a debt collection agency. Account balance notifications are sent out weekly via email, phone, text messages, or notes home with students from your student’s school. TRANSPORTATION 332-3798 / 332-5954
For the 2024-2025 school year, the transportation department will be offering transportation for students who are assigned to routes only–no additional passengers will be allowed. There will be no morning or afternoon transportation available for students transferring from school to school. All buses will travel to each building and load only assigned students. Students in grades K-5 may only ride Bus #59 to and from the First Street bus stop.

HOME SCHOOL
Parents who plan to teach their children at home during the 2024-2025 school year are reminded that Wyoming statutes covering home schools require that a curriculum that is sequential and progressively organized in reading, writing, mathematics, civics, history, science, and literature must be submitted to the school superintendent. Home school registration forms are available via our website and/or upon request from the district administration office.
HATHAWAY SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
The State of Wyoming provides Hathaway Merit and Need Scholarships to students graduating from Wyoming high schools who meet certain criteria to attend the University of Wyoming or Wyoming community colleges. Each Wyoming student who successfully completes the Hathaway curriculum and who meets the merit requirements (ACT score and GPA) can earn a Hathaway Merit Scholarship. EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS
For emergencies or school closures due to inclement weather, the school district will use the Infinite Campus Messenger system to send telephone, text, and/or email messages to parents. As a result, it is extremely important for parents to update any changes in their phone numbers or email addresses. Updates to your contact information may be easily made via Parent Portal, or by notifying the schools when there are changes. Schools may also use the Infinite Campus Messenger system to notify parents of other important information. We also communicate via social media and community news resources such as radio and County10.
