The Riverton Police Department were called to a restaurant parking lot on S. 3rd East in Riverton Tuesday afternoon just after 2:00 p.m. for a theft report.
The reporting party told officers that a new, in-the-box, 70″ television had been stolen from the back of a pickup truck.
A report explained that the television had just been purchased by a Lander resident. Before returning to Lander with the purchase, the reporting party ate lunch for approximately 30 minutes at the restaurant. When they returned to their truck, the TV was missing.
An update from the reporting party Wednesday afternoon to County 10 confirmed the television or a thief had not been located.
