Most of the highway routes heading into or out of Fremont County are closed in the wake of the last winter blast that cruised through the area overnight. Closed are US 287 from the Rawlins Junction south of Lander to Jeffrey City, Wyoming 135 between Sand Draw and Sweetwater Station, US 20 from Shoshoni to Thermopolis and US 20/26 from Waltman to Casper. Additionally No Unnecessary Travel is reported on most other Fremont County Routes, including between Lander and Riverton, on South Pass on Wyo 28 were Chain Law #2 is in effect and US 26 between Diversion Dam Junction to Riverton.
