(Riverton, WY) – Wyoming House District 33 Candidates Sarah Penn (Republican) and Ivan Posey (Democrat) have both agreed to participate in a candidate forum this week in Riverton, according to a press release from the League of Women Voters of Fremont County.
The forum will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Central Wyoming College Intertribal Education and Community Center, 2860 W. Main St. in Riverton.
“Voters will hear the candidates’ platforms and ideas about a broad cross-section of issues facing Wyoming, Fremont County, and House District 33 residents,” the press release states.
Afterward, audience members are invited to “connect with the candidates” during a post-forum reception.
A video of the candidate forum will be available online through County 10, YouTube, Facebook, and the League’s website.
The League of Women Voters of Fremont County is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization that is dedicated to voter education, voting rights, and providing information that helps voters make informed decisions at the polls, the press release states; the group does not support or endorse any candidate running for office.
