The National Weather Service office in Cheyenne is projecting heavy smoke from west coast wildfires will settle into areas of southeast Wyoming Sunday, including Laramie and Cheyenne.
The Mullen Fire, burning 50 miles west of Laramie, has burned over 7,000 acres so far and is contributing to the dense haze.
For Fremont County folks however, there’s a bit of relief Sunday with lighter smoke projected. A timeline of the projected haze is below.
