Lander’s annual holiday kickoff party, “Light Up Lander” will be held Saturday, December 1st.
Festivities will take place between 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. near South 7th and Main Street.
A light parade begins at 5:30 p.m. and features Santa Claus himself. Santa will help light the trees along Main Street, then ultimately stop at Centennial Park for the lighting of Lander’s community Christmas tree.
Folks can also catch live music, refreshments, and take a hayride.
There will be an opportunity to win prizes, including bicycles for those who bring canned goods. Food will be donated to the Community Christmas Baskets and the Care & Share Food Bank.
