(Fremont County, WY) – Sean Brennan was sentenced to 120 months imprisonment at his sentencing hearing held today, June 24, before the Honorable Judge Alan B. Johnson in Cheyenne.
Brennan also received 10 years of supervised release and was ordered to pay $33,000 in restitution, as well as a $100 assessment fee.
Brennan was charged/sentenced after a YouTuber’s child predator sting operation led to his arrest back in September of 2024.
At the time, Brennan was locally charged with third-degree sexual abuse of a child, but that charge was later updated to possession of child pornography (subsequent offense) when the charge became federal.
Brennan was originally investigated following the efforts of a YouTube channel called ColoradoPedPatrol, which had set up a fake account for a 13-year-old girl named “Sam,” with whom Brennan had engaged in illicit/sexual correspondences leading up to the sting.
The YouTuber, Tommy Fellows, is a self-proclaimed “online child predator catcher” who confronted Brennan with the evidence at his former job in Lander, which ultimately led to his arrest in September 2024.

Brennan originally pled “not guilty” to the federal charge back in December, and a jury trial was set for February 10, then later rescheduled for May.
However, a non-public plea agreement was later filed on March 25, and he went on to plead “guilty” at a change of plea hearing back in April, at which time today’s sentencing hearing was set.
